Hello! I’m so glad you stopped by! My name is Elaina and this is my little spot where I hope to share as much of my creative antics, mostly of the quilting variety. For my first post I’m keeping it short and sweet. Since regaining my sewjo a little over a year ago I can say there is an ever piling stack of  WIPs (works in progress) and soon to be ones. My favorite quilts seems to be scrappy ones and I’m having fun experimenting with as many different combinations of colors and fabric patterns as possible.

Isn’t this one of the most adorable floral quilt blocks ever? It’s called “Garden Grow” designed by @hellomellydesigns and was one of the free patterns offered from @cotton_cuts in their Classic Box for October. I used some solid pink corduroy with a very thin wale and it sewed up quite nicely. It was well-ironed and didn’t stretch much and the texture is just so nice. I plan on making quite a bunch of these blocks. Nothing like a happy garden-themed quilt!
